NPA/MGO is NOT a measure of the proportion of Manuka
Bees gather honey from vast areas. Discussions about source of product often erupt into arguments and determining the purity of a honey is not possible by these means. Here we have blended honeys that can be assumed to as pure as possible to demonstrate the above title. Honeys less pure than stated (i.e. not pure manuka) will generate a worse outcome.
1This manuka has 1,400ppm of MGO. A recent (Feb 2013) highly publicised Comvita sponsored study on wound dressings used a "manuka" with 1,541 ppm of MGO.
